Movember

No I haven't spelt the month incorrectly, in Melbourne in November, its quite normal for most guys to grow a mo to raise money for charity. There is some scary looking people around by the end of the month. Its funny aswell how its so cool to have a mo on 30th Nov, but if its still around on 1st Dec your a weirdo!

Summer has definitely hit, and we are being attacked by flies everywhere..... driving everyone insane!

I normally dread the month of November as its dark and dreary, but this year was wicked. The month started off with more spring racing carnival events, and a public holiday for the Melbourne Cup. Thats right, a holiday for a horse race. Thats Melbourne! I didn't go to the Melbourne Cup as went along to Derby Day, and even better, managed to go Corporate to Oaks Day where we had a Gilligans Island theme in the VIP section, the Bird Cage! Free cocktails and champagne all day rocks!

A good few artists came to Melbourne to, Justin Timberlake brought sexy back to Rod Laver Arena in total style, and hung out at all same hangouts as me, Brunswick Street, Southbank, Portsea - my timing unfortunatley is shit tho! The Killers rocked up and finished their Ozzie tour in Melbourne, where we benefitted by getting 3 encores, even tho I wasn't convinced I wanted them! lol! Also, had another big day at Defcon dance festival right in the centre of town, dancing in the sun all day!

The Melbourne cup was spent ignoring horse-racing and hanging out up in Daylesford - a small country town that is famous for its thermal springs and spas. It was such a good girly day, we had nice lunch, went to a few winerys, went to an Art Gallery and then treated ourself to dinner at Sault - an award winning restaurant. If only every Tuesday was spent like this!!!! If I was in charge it would be......
